Coproscopic atlas of captive non-human primates
The objective of this website is to facilitate the identification of digestive parasites in captive non-human primates. It includes a lot of pictures and 2 decision-making trees. Each decision-making tree is linked to brief descriptions of the parasites mentioned and their clinical significance in non-human primates according to recent publications.
Informations come from the thesis of veterinarian doctorate Thibaut Prenant (« Les parasites digestifs des primates non-humains en captivité dans les parcs zoologiques en France: réalisation d’un atlas d’aide à la diagnose », EnvA, 2018), supervised by Pr. Jacques GUILLOT, university lecturer and researcher in parasitology at ENVA, and Dr. Benoît QUINTARD, veterinarian at Mulhouse zoological and botanical garden.
